Position Summary
The Grocery Overnight Clerk is responsible for stocking shelves with received merchandise.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Process freight delivery
- Creates new displays sets end caps
- Stocks shelves, zone/face all isles
- Sorts grocery merchandise assigning labels and price tags
- Ensure replenishment of sold merchandise
- Monitor shelf life of merchandise ensuring proper rotation when needed
- Maintaining inventory in stockroom
- Prominently display promotional merchandise
- Maintaining reports for overages, shortages and damages
- Other duties as assigned
Education And Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Warehouse experience and forklift experience preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Physical Demands And Work Conditions
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
- Vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus
- Work environment typical of an office and retail store; noise level ranges from quiet to loud
- Able to drive and flexible to travel to all company locations as required
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work schedules are variable depending on the needs of price changes; schedules will be variable working from midnight
