Grocery Merchandiser - Laredo, TX

About the role

The Grocery Merchandiser will manage an assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks, taking pictures, and fulfilling reporting requirements using provided technology. The role requires merchandising, repeated bending and lifting up to 50 pounds, and is based in Laredo, TX (within a 25‑55 mile radius).

Responsibilities

• Pre‑selling, merchandising, and gaining/maintaining product distribution across various accounts.
• Ensuring clients’ products are well stocked and ordering when stock is low or out of stock.
• Using mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication.
• Switching between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams throughout the day.
• Working independently, following directions, and maintaining excellent communication skills.
• Conducting audits in area grocery stores and traveling between store locations within the designated territory.
• Verifying that clients’ products are accurately represented on store shelves.
• Maintaining a safe working environment, professional appearance, and adherence to dress code and attendance guidelines.
• Attending client kickoff video calls and team check‑ins as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proof of automobile insurance.
• Reliable phone (within 5 years old) service and internet service for daily communication.
• Ability to drive to stores in the assigned territory to complete retail tasks and audits.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift regularly throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, sales, or merchandising experience is a plus (but not required).
