Grocery Manager

Job Summary

Aids in managing daily grocery operations, supervising staff, and ensuring store conditions meet company standards. Promotes customer confidence and loyalty through excellent service and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Service: Creates welcoming environment, ensures merchandise meets plan, maintains cleanliness, trains associates, offers customer assistance.

• Leadership: Promotes teamwork, establishes goals, manages schedules, adheres to laws and company guidelines.

• Financials: Completes administrative tasks, monitors inventory, reviews products, assists in inventory planning, ensures food safety, handles recalls.

• Compliance/Safety: Maintains safety standards, adheres to regulations, executes recalls, reports incidents, ensures compliance with policies, cultivates safety culture.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED preferred, relevant experience required.

• Experience: 0-3 years of supervisory experience.

• Languages: Proficiency in English, ability to speak Spanish preferred.

• Skills: Strong customer service, interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills; proficiency in basic math, computer applications, and handling stressful situations.

• Knowledge: Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain within 180 days.
