Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Aid in achieving sales and profit goals
- Maintain quality assurance standards
- Communicate effectively with customers and associates
- Answer questions about products and grocery specials
- Offer product samples and suggest new items
- Ensure freshness and proper temperatures of products
- Report discrepancies, safety risks, and incidents
- Adhere to food safety regulations
- Perform preventive maintenance and report repairs
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
- Retail experience preferred
- Desired: Second language proficiency
- Positive attitude and ability to promote trust and respect
