Grocery General Duty Clerk (Dairy)

About the role

As a Dairy Department Clerk, you’ll help ensure our dairy section is fresh, organized, and fully stocked for our customers. You’ll rotate and shelve products, monitor freshness, maintain clean and visually appealing displays, and provide friendly assistance to shoppers. You’ll also support inventory accuracy and assist with receiving and placing orders to keep the department running smoothly. This role is active and fast-paced, requiring comfort working in cooler environments and being on your feet throughout the day.

Requirements

• Familiarity with food safety and freshness protocols, with a focus on maintaining product quality
• Ability to manage inventory, rotate stock effectively, and ensure shelves are organized and full
• Friendly, helpful attitude with the ability to assist customers and communicate clearly
• Strong observational skills to monitor product dates, cleanliness, and display standards
• Comfortable working in refrigerated environments and staying active throughout the shift
• Willingness to partner with teammates and contribute to a positive store environment
• Familiarity with handheld inventory devices and basic computer systems for order tracking and receiving
