Main Responsibilities
- Aid the Grocery Manager in overseeing daily Grocery, Frozen, Dairy, and Liquor/Beer operations.
- Supervise, train, and support department associates to achieve operational excellence and outstanding customer service.
- Manage orders, receive, store, price, stock, and merchandise products to ensure in-stock conditions and sales performance.
- Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally, fostering a positive shopping experience.
- Manage inventory, control shrink, adjust pricing, and remove discontinued or out-of-code products.
- Operate the store, ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, security, and operational standards.
- Ensure accurate cash handling procedures, including issuing and collecting register funds.
- Implement and respond to emergency procedures and address equipment, system, or operational issues.
- Oversee store operations and supervise associates in the absence of the Store Director and Grocery Manager.
- Perform all duties with accuracy, honesty, integrity, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
