About the role

Location: Cub Foods Monticello. Reports to: Grocery Manager. Classification: Part Time.

Pay

Progressive scale up to $18.00 / hour, based on experience.

Schedule

Hours: Sunday – Saturday, varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Make lasting connections with customers.
• Fill and rotate cases and displays (may involve heavy lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Assist with receiving products and merchandising to keep shelves full.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary store.
• Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department.
• Be part of a dedicated team that enjoys their job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled.
• Physical demands: frequent lifting/carrying over 50 lbs, pushing/pulling up to 2000 force lbs; walking, reaching, standing, stooping/bending, squatting, kneeling; repetitive motion (turning, bending).
• Equipment operation: forklift, pallet jack, carts, box cutter, compactor, baler, scanner, register, scale, check approval machine, coupon machine, paging system.
• Mental judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, basic computer skills.
• Environmental exposure: extended exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces.
• Occasional mental math/calculation, climbing ladders.
• Frequency definitions: FREQUENT ≈ 15% of work shift or ≥10 repetitions per shift; OCCASIONAL
• Position functions and physical responsibilities may vary by store location.
