About the role

Part-time position at Cub Foods West St Paul reporting to the Grocery Manager. This is a union role with a progressive pay scale up to $17.25 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

Sunday – Saturday, varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Make lasting connections with customers
• Fill and rotate cases and displays (may include heavy lifting up to 50 lbs)
• Assist with receiving products and merchandising to keep shelves stocked
• Maintain a clean and sanitary store environment
• Work with the team on all tasks necessary to support department operations
• Arrive promptly for shifts and work as scheduled

Physical demands

• Frequent (15% of work shift or at least 10 repetitions per shift):
  • Lifting/carrying over 50 lbs
  • Pushing/pulling up to 2000 force lbs
  • Walking, reaching, standing, stooping/bending, squatting, kneeling
  • Repetitive motion: turning, bending
• Occasional (less than 15% of work shift or fewer than 10 repetitions per shift):
  • Mental math/calculation
  • Climbing ladders
• Equipment operation: forklift, pallet jack, carts, box cutter, compactor, baler, scanner, register, scale, check approval machine, coupon machine, paging system
• Environmental exposure: extended exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces
• Mental demands: judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, basic computer skills
