Grinding Operator

We are seeking a Grinding Operator to join our manufacturing team. This entry-level, hands-on position is ideal for candidates interested in manufacturing, metalworking, or skilled trades.

Responsibilities

• Clean, deburr, polish, and grind forged metal parts using hand-held power tools
• Operate buffing and grinding wheels to smooth edges and surfaces
• Inspect parts for quality, surface finish, and defects
• Follow written and verbal work instructions, safety rules, and quality standards
• Handle and move parts or containers weighing up to 25 lbs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Entry-level experience welcome (manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus but not required)
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and work orders
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals, percentages)
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Regular use of hands and fingers for handling parts and tools
• Frequent reaching with hands and arms
• Ability to sit, with occasional standing and walking
• Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds
• Close vision and color vision required
