Hourly Non-Exempt position on 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6am-2pm).
About the role
Set up and operate equipment to produce regrind that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Start up all machinery and equipment; make adjustments to achieve high-quality regrind.
- Complete daily shift reports, logging all necessary production data.
- Maintain safety and housekeeping by following safety rules, reporting hazards, and keeping the work area clean.
- Ensure quality regrind by dumping and transferring it to the proper silos.
- Assist in training new employees by sharing knowledge and information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to operate a sit-down forklift.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Able to work while standing for long periods (2 to 3 hours).
- Must understand and communicate written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Capable of learning and retaining information on products, operating procedures, and quality requirements.
- Able to work in areas with temperatures approaching 115 degrees.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and time-sensitive work that can change rapidly.
