Grinding Operator | 1st or 3rd shift | Mon - Thur

About the role

Charter Casting in Shawano is hiring a Grinding Operator to join our production team. This is a full-time position with multiple available shifts and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. We are a fourth-generation family-owned business where our will to grow drives us to do it better.

Responsibilities

• Grind iron castings to specifications
• Use power tools such as robots, hand grinders, stationary grinders, and pencil grinders
• Perform wheel changes
• Record data and complete paperwork

Schedule & Pay

• 1st shift: 4am–2pm, Monday to Thursday (10-hour days)
• 3rd shift: 6pm–4am, Monday to Thursday (10-hour days)
• $23/hr
• Overtime available

Requirements

• 1 year prior experience working in manufacturing, foundry, metals, or related field
• High School Diploma (GED works program available)
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and move up to 60lbs
• Basic math and problem solving skills
