About the role

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking a seasonal Grill Cook to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. This position offers a unique opportunity to showcase culinary skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook grilled menu items according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the grill station and surrounding areas
• Set up, operate, and clean kitchen equipment according to correct procedures, and keep workstations clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
• Work cooperatively with team members and management
• Follow supervisor’s assignments for opening and closing procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
• Able to work as a team player, following procedures, and taking directions
• Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements

Qualifications

• No experience or diploma required
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more
• Ability to stand for long periods while also bending, lifting, and reaching
• Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
• May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold
