GRILL COOK (FULL TIME)
About the role
We are hiring immediately for a full time GRILL COOK position. The location is Polk State Winter Haven at 999 Avenue H Northeast, Winter Haven, FL 33881. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is full time, Monday through Friday, with hours varying. Previous grill experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation.
- Serves customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and appealing.
- Uses approved recipes and production standards to maintain quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
- Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food safely and stores foods according to safety and rotation procedures.
- Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to meet sanitation standards.
- Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information and concerns to the supervisor.
- Attends in-service and safety meetings.
- Maintains positive relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
- Performs job safely and keeps the work environment clean.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Previous grill experience is required.
Pay
$18.00 per hour to $19.00 per hour.
