Grill Cook

About the role

As a Grill Cook at Parkhurst Dining, you will be part of a dynamic team committed to creating smiles through exceptional service and culinary excellence. You'll prepare all grill items to order according to the daily menu, set up and break down the grill station, and ensure the service line is garnished properly at all times. Your responsibilities also include checking the quality of food items to meet taste, appearance, and temperature standards, and interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all grill items to order according to the daily menu.
• Set up, break down and clean the grill station.
• Prepare service line for operation as instructed by Executive Chef and/or Management.
• Check quality of food items, ensuring they meet standards of taste, appearance, and correct temperature.
• Report any substandard quality to the Executive Chef and/or Management.
• Interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Use Smile Plus Hospitality Imperatives.

Requirements

• Standing and/or walking - 100% of time.
• Frequently lifting up to 20 lbs.
• Occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs.
