Greetings Card Designer
About the role
We’re looking for creative designers to join our card team. If you’ve got a great eye for layout, pattern, illustration, and colour, plus solid technical skills and a love for detail, you’ll fit right in. We’re after someone adaptable, imaginative, and excited to bring their creative energy to the team.
We have multiple opportunities available: 1 Full Time Permanent, 1 Part-Time 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract, and 1 Full Time 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week in the office, based at Junction 41 in Wakefield, where there’s free parking.
Responsibilities
- Creating commercial designs for our greetings card ranges.
- Developing original concepts from scratch alongside reformatting existing designs into fresh new layouts.
- Preparing accurate, print-ready artwork files that meet production standards.
- Researching trends and contributing ideas to help shape our future collections.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a greetings card designer.
- Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills—especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- A versatile style and keen eye for typography, layout, illustration, and colour.
- Clear communication and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
