About the role
Under general direction and supervision of the Electric Engineer I/II, assists in engineering duties associated with the electric transmission and distribution system construction and operations; assists with project oversight and technical support to crews regarding the construction, operation, and maintenance of the electric transmission and distribution systems; assists with special projects as required.
Responsibilities
- Assists with engineering and construction design duties related to the electric transmission and distribution system
- Prepares specifications and bid documents
- Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of bid awards
- Assists the Electric Engineer I/II with Project Management duties on projects as assigned by Electric Distribution Engineer
- Assists with engineering review of consultant submittals
- Interacts with contractors on material pickup and other project inquiries
- Performs other duties and assignments as required
Requirements
- Under and including one year of experience
- Enrolled in a four-year BS degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
- A valid driver’s license
Pay
$14.00 – $20.00/hr
