About the role

The Gargoyles are seeking a creative, motivated, and passionate Game Presentation Intern for the 2026-27 season. This hands-on opportunity provides valuable experience within a premier ECHL hockey organization and is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to build a portfolio in sports media, live-game production, fan experience, and video production.

Timeline

October 2026 – April 2027 (or at the completion of Playoffs)

Responsibilities

• DJing the game using a provided game script and cues from the game producer
• Operating video board graphics before, during, and after games
• Operating venue lights before, during, and after games
• Operating a camera that streams to FloHockey and the video board
• Shadowing the game producer, technical director and replay operator
• Attending pre-game production meetings
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sports Media, Broadcasting, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Video Production, or a related field
• Housing and transportation in Greensboro or surrounding area
• Availability to work home games and designated office hours

Compensation

This is a non-paid internship. School credit may be earned if applicable.
