Greenhouse Associate - Task ( Starting Pay $15.81 )

About the Role

A task crew member performs a variety of general labor tasks throughout the greenhouse under direct supervision of a Manager and/or Crew Leader. Responsibilities include maintaining quality standards, meeting productivity goals, and keeping the work area safe.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies
• Space plants on the ground
• Move tables between locations
• Clean, pinch, and cut plants
• Operate table-moving equipment after training and certification
• Support hanging plants as needed
• Complete task lists independently or with a team
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Ability to work and communicate across multiple departments
• Multitask and collaborate effectively as a team player
• Work in various weather conditions
• Work flexible hours and overtime as needed
• Problem-solve, troubleshoot, and seek solutions
• Follow directions and perform tasks to company standards
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Fluency in reading, writing, and understanding English
• Ability to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens
• Occasional work in confined spaces
• Long-term ability to stand, sit, squat, bend, reach, and twist regularly
• Operate machinery, including table lifters and internal vehicles, after certification
• Work at heights above 6 feet
• Lift 35 pounds unaided; regularly lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
