Seasonal Sales Associate (Store 0915)

About the role

The Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team during peak sales days by providing excellent customer service, participating in store operations, and adhering to GameStop policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and promoting additional items.
• Safeguard the shopping environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and proper merchandising.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise, and collaborate with the store team to meet sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.
• Address guest inquiries and complaints, escalating issues to a store keyholder when necessary.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, and maintain a reliable and trustworthy demeanor.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing personality with strong guest service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and listen effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and bend, stoop, reach, climb, and stand for extended periods.
• Reliability and trustworthiness.
