Greenfield Village Halloween/Holiday Nights Presenter

Essential Responsibilities

• Aid with seasonal event activities such as pumpkin preparation and lighting, historical character portrayal, storytelling, fire tending, guest wayfinding, kerosene lamp preparation and lighting, and other event-specific responsibilities.
• Perform operational duties including site preparation, maintenance, cleanup, and general event support.
• Provide exceptional hospitality while ensuring the safety and comfort of guests and fellow team members.
• Maintain the appearance and functionality of assigned work areas.
• Help protect historic artifacts, buildings, and landscapes from damage.
• Collaborate with teammates and leadership to communicate operational needs, share feedback, and improve program effectiveness.
• Participate in departmental meetings, work teams, and required training sessions.
• Contribute as a positive, dependable team member while supporting colleagues across departments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Eighteen (18) years or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred availability on Wednesdays during October.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced, outdoor event environments.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs and event assignments.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for guests and fellow team members.
