Green — QA, UAT and Training Lead

About the role

This role is a QA, UAT and Training Lead for the Paid Detail Application and Software Platform (project 05626P0001) with the New York City Police Department / NYC PASSPort Department – Quality and Adoption. The opportunity is open (green) with a submission deadline of November 12, 2026 at 4:00 PM Eastern Time. It is a contract/project‑based position, on‑site/hybrid in New York City, NY, reporting to the Director of Consulting Services, with travel as required by project scope.

Responsibilities

• Create functional, integration, security, performance, mobile, accessibility, regression, and role-based UAT coverage tied to requirements.
• Define test data, defect triage, entry/exit criteria, evidence capture, go-live readiness, rollback, and post-release validation.
• Prepare role-specific training and administrator materials for officers, supervisors, participating clients, support staff, and platform administrators.
• Review the role scope, project background, supporting materials, deadline, and client requirements that relate to your assigned work.
• Provide only the role-specific materials requested by FuntoNetwork, such as your resume, cover letter, work samples, technical notes, estimates, or availability.
• Coordinate with FuntoNetwork on your assigned consultant role and related technical work only.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders as needed.
• Support quality control, status updates, and readiness for your assigned portion of the work.
• Trace assigned work to the RFP scope, requirement or RTM row, deliverable, dependency, acceptance criterion, schedule milestone, and supporting evidence.
• Review official solicitation materials and addenda affecting this workstream; document assumptions, open items, exclusions, risks, and required client decisions.
• Prepare role-specific technical inputs, work products, estimates, implementation details, quality records, and proposal or post-award delivery evidence.
• Coordinate interfaces and handoffs with project management, business analysis, technical, field, quality, compliance, training, and operations workstreams.
• Maintain status, issue, decision, change, and evidence records and escalate blockers before they affect submission or delivery readiness.

• Ability to work against project deadlines and client requirements.
• Experience supporting public‑sector, enterprise, or consulting projects is preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to provide complete role‑specific application materials.

Pay

Estimated 65‑139 USD / Hour based on role, experience, and final project requirements.
