Job Responsibilities
- Follow and enforce all plant safety rules and policies.
- Follow and comply with all operational procedures/policies as stated in the employee Environmental Health and Safety programs and conduct Team Safety Talks as required.
- Support and follow Magna’s operating principles, including: Magna Employee Charter, Open Door Policy, 5S, Safety First, Promote MAFACT benchmarks, Core values.
- Attend and participate in Team, Department, Plant-wide and any other meetings as required.
- Conduct all activities in a professional manner and positive attitude with an emphasis on personal responsibility.
- Audit quality paperwork for accuracy/completeness (daily).
- Inspect product to requirements defined on the end of line checklist and the quality inspection forms.
- Communicate quality issues with product to Quality and Area Team Leader / Supervisor.
- Follow up with the setup of rework and sort methods for quality concerns/containments.
- Ensure containments and certification requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Audit and report out on NCM material.
- Green Dot Audits: TLCQQ, Tagged, Loaded properly, Closed, Quantity, Quality.
- Dock Audits: TLCQQ, Tagged, Loaded properly, Closed, Quantity, Quality.
- Pass down to communicate shift concerns. (End of shift notes)
- Interface with engineering and quality to resolve quality concerns.
- Customer/Vendor travel for rework/sort etc…, or otherwise directed by supervisor.
- Maintain Quality alert folders and concern matrix using Kamtek Manufacturing System.
- Conduct daily audits for production parts and process in accordance with the layered process audit system.
- Inspect and audit finished product prior to shipment.
- Verify correct labeling and product certification.
- Quality System Audits.
