Green Crew Maintenance Generalist (1st Shift)-Broken Bow, OK

About the role

General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery
• Learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out daily documentation required in the system
• Communicate clearly with Upper Management and team members via phone, in person, and in writing regarding the status of equipment repairs

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Industrial related maintenance experience (listed in the application) and/or technical certifications
• Working knowledge of electricity, power transmissions, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, cutting, and the use of shop tools
• Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required
• Must be able to read and write where required
• Must be able to use math as needed to make work-related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
• Must be willing and able to lift 70 lbs. with assistance on a daily basis
• Must be able to work on your feet for 12 hours
• Must be willing to complete all required training for the job
• Must be able to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture
