Greem Team- Recycling - The Lodge at Bryce Canyon
About the role
This position will be a member of the “Green Team,” ensuring trash, recycling, and compost from both coworkers and guests end up in the proper waste streams. Sustainability is a priority at Aramark Destinations; tracking waste is critical for improving our efforts. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, isn’t bothered by getting dirty, and has a passion for our National Parks and their preservation, all while maintaining a healthy and safe working culture.
Responsibilities
- Collect and sort trash, recycling, and compost materials.
- Track and report waste stream data to support sustainability goals.
- Perform light maintenance tasks.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Manager on waste operations.
- Promote safe and sustainable practices among staff and guests.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Passion for sustainability and protecting natural spaces.
- Enjoys working outdoors and isn’t afraid to get dirty.
- Team player with a positive attitude and safety-first mindset.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform repetitive movements.
