About the role

The Grease Masters Maintenance Tech (Industrial Cleaning & Exhaust Systems) is a field-based technician role responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and servicing of commercial kitchen exhaust systems, grease containment systems, and related equipment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning and maintenance of commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, ducts, fans, filters, and associated components.
  • Clean grease traps, interceptors, and grease-contaminated surfaces using pressure washing equipment, degreasers, and manual tools.
  • Manually remove heavy grease buildup using scrapers and mechanical equipment when required.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain pressure washing systems, tools, and safety equipment.
  • Prepare work trucks and equipment prior to job execution and properly secure equipment after service.
  • Perform work in varied environments including rooftops, ladders, confined spaces, and indoor/outdoor customer locations.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and job-specific instructions to ensure safe operations at all times.
  • Maintain professional conduct while working at customer sites and represent the company appropriately.
  • Accurately follow work orders, instructions, and direction from supervisors and crew leads.
  • Complete other duties as assigned to support operational needs.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to approximately 50–55 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders, access rooftops, and work at elevated heights.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in tight or confined spaces.
  • Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and vehicles associated with industrial cleaning services.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to operate company vehicles in accordance with company policies.
  • Ability to pass required background screening and drug testing.
  • Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and established processes.
  • Dependable attendance and reliability are essential.
  • Prior experience in industrial cleaning, commercial services, or maintenance environments is preferred but not required; training is provided.
