GRCES Kids Care Staff - Assistant Teachers for 26–27 school year

About the Role

Grand Rapids Christian Elementary School (GRCES) is seeking Assistant Teachers for the Kids Care Program at both the Evergreen and Iroquois Campuses. Kids Care is a licensed child care program providing quality before and after-school care for families during the school year. This is a part-time, school-year, hourly position.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe environment and active supervision for students before and after school hours
• Build relationships and interact with children during play and activities
• Help manage attendance
• Clean and organize the learning spaces daily
• Coordinate with Kids Care team members

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Preferred experience working with children
• CPR/First Aid Certified (can be completed after employment)
• Complete and pass the state-required background check
• Complete required, on-going trainings if offered the position
• Be able to sit on the floor with children and move around for long periods of time

Reports to: Early Learning Center Program Administrator (Evergreen Campus) or Preschool Program Administrator (Iroquois Campus). Coordinates with: Kids Care Coordinator (Evergreen Campus) or Preschool Administrative Assistant (Iroquois Campus).

Schedule

Part-time, school-year, hourly position.
