GRC Manager

About the role

This role focuses on overseeing the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) functions within an organization. The individual will develop and implement strategies, policies, and standards to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal audit policies. The GRC Manager will lead a team of professionals, managing risks and ensuring compliance in IT/OT environments, while engaging with cutting-edge GRC platforms and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of GRC strategies, policies, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential risks and apply appropriate risk treatment strategies.
• Manage third-party risks, ensuring that all vendors comply with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Create frameworks and guidelines that align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified approach to risk management and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a GRC functional leader role, demonstrating leadership in governance, risk, and compliance.
• Working knowledge of GRC Platforms such as Workiva or Archer, with hands-on experience in leveraging these tools for compliance.
• Experience with TSA regulations and Maritime regulations, ensuring adherence to industry-specific compliance standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking compliance metrics and managing GRC functions.
