Gravel Pit Field Mechanic

Schedule

Full time, overtime available.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosis and repair of yellow iron equipment such as loaders, track hoes, dozers, skid steers, etc.; ability to replace pumps, hoses, engine components, wear parts as assigned.
• Repair and maintenance of screening and crushing equipment and processing plants.
• Travel to pits located in Utah, Tooele and Salt Lake Counties to perform repairs.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair of yellow iron equipment.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and diesel engine troubleshooting (preferred).
• Ability to understand and troubleshoot 12 & 24 volt electrical systems.
• Welding and torching experience (preferred).
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.
• Motivated and reliable.
