About the role

A skilled part-time Graphics Operator for Live Events who will play a crucial role in enhancing event productions by operating graphics systems to ensure seamless visual displays during sports contests, concerts, and community gatherings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the quality control of all digital signage content, including ribbons, scoreboards, and other visual installations.
  • Operate and maintain graphics systems to display content accurately and effectively, following direction from the Show Producer or Technical Director.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Director, Video Engineer, and Show Director to coordinate the timely display of graphics during events.
  • Prepare and organize media content for digital displays in advance of live events.
  • Conduct tests and rehearsals on control room systems prior to major events to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and fulfillment of sponsored content and advertising assets.
  • Archive footage from live events and respond to footage requests as needed.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot graphics systems to address any issues during live productions.
  • Remain informed on current industry trends, emerging technologies, and software advancements related to graphics operation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience as a graphics operator.
  • Experience as a graphics operator in a live event setting is preferred.
  • Experience with Ross Xpression and Dashboard software is strongly preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of video formats, resolutions, and live production workflows.
  • Flexible availability for events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including working in high-noise environments and managing a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Pay

Hourly rate: $20 USD. FLSA status: non-exempt. Pay frequency: bi-weekly; direct deposit required.

Schedule

Part-time position with variable days and hours based on event schedule. Employees select their own shifts (days and times) based on availability.
