Graphics Designer I
This is a 100% remote, part-time contract role lasting 2 months.
About the role
This is a junior-level role focused primarily on conducting final quality assurance reviews of presentations created by Gartner analysts. The role is not design-intensive and offers limited opportunity to enhance presentation designs. Candidates will interact directly with stakeholders; however, the role is more execution-focused and less collaborative than the Graphic Designer III position.
This is a unique opportunity to join the BTI Studio design team and impact the Gartner client experience through the creation of compelling design that supports and communicates Gartner’s best-practice, insight-driven content. We are looking for a self-motivated, highly creative problem solver to make information more consumable for Gartner audiences by using design—such as conceptual graphics, data visualizations, layouts, and illustrations—to convey Gartner’s expert guidance and tools.
Responsibilities
- Review stakeholder-created content, following a checklist to ensure quality and compliance.
- Produce high-quality, client-ready graphics, data visualizations, and layouts for projects of lower to moderate complexity.
- Consistently apply Gartner brand and visual design principles to all content.
- Create intuitively consumable visuals with minimal manager support, with an expectation of growing complexity over time.
- Partner consultatively with internal stakeholders and peers.
- Clearly communicate design rationale and brand principles.
- Seek and provide feedback to continuously improve design solutions.
- Organize and prioritize assigned projects effectively.
- Utilize specified tools (e.g., CPP, ClickUp) to track timelines and communicate project expectations.
- Proactively inform your manager of project progress and escalate potential roadblocks or scope changes.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong PowerPoint (PPT) skills; candidates must provide PPT work samples or portfolio for consideration.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct presentation errors during final quality reviews.
- Strong process orientation and ability to follow established guidelines, review checklists, and instructions.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of assignments and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, as most design work is completed in PPT.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects on various timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a closely related discipline.
- 1–3 years (post-college) experience in a graphic design role preferred.
Schedule
Part-time, 2-month duration.
