Job Title Graphic Coordinator Department Graphic / Lithography Reports to Graphic Supervisor Employment Status Regular, Full-Time FLSA Classification Exempt Shift Days Location USA – Olyphant, PA (greater Scranton, PA Area) Travel 0-10% Position Summary CONVENTIONAL Plan, schedule and implement complex graphic design projects. Development and coordination of lithography preparation in accordance with the client's requirements, including innovative graphic solutions. Strengthen CANPACK’s competitive position by introducing visual solutions to the customer. Essential Functions/Key Deliverables Design computer lithography according to the order. Communicate with customers relating to new and revised graphics to ensure uniformity of artwork. Create presentations and other graphics for the company products and assist in the creation of the graphics used for products. Drive each project from concept development, executing layouts, and artwork design. Identify potential problems in customer artwork and work with the customer to prevent them. Has an exceptional communication ability using strong listening skills and a logical, systematic approach to assimilating and sharing information in all areas. Create and implement style sheets and set color specifications. Adapting graphic design to the CANPACK production technology/capabilities. Manage graphic files in Esko systems. Cooperate with production at the lithography design stage to improve print/lithography quality. Coordinate with team members on projects required for graphics needs. Support the Sales department in initiating and conducting meetings with representatives of the customer marketing department to present our innovative capabilities. Test and implement new versions of existing programs and new graphic programs. Search for new solutions in the field of project development methods. Update timelines in lithography preparation in the "Project Management" system and update graphic files within CANPACK’S Quality Management System. Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role. Knowledge/Skills/Experience Associate degree or experience in a related/similar field (prior Beverage Can Manufacturing experience preferred). Professional graphics, printing preparation background. Must have basic skills with Microsoft Office, Graphic programs, SAP or other ERP systems. High proficiency in Macintosh and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop). Exceptional communication ability using strong listening skills and a logical, systematic approach to assimilating and sharing information in all areas. Attention to detail with ability to work to specifications. Perfect color vision/perception. Ability to make decisions on a daily basis that ensure creative quality.
