Graphic Designer (OPS Part Time)
About the Role
The Graphic Design Assistant will support the Arts UNF Communications department with graphic design for all Arts UNF needs, including the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville (MOCA). This role involves creating and managing content and creative assets for websites, social media, print materials, and advertising, ensuring a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the overall management, content creation, and strategy for Arts UNF and MOCA Jacksonville through print and digital content.
- Oversee the development of industry-leading graphic design content for Arts UNF and MOCA Jacksonville.
- Plan, organize, and deliver assigned graphic design projects to ensure timely completion.
- Proactively support Arts UNF and MOCA Jacksonville staff on various initiatives.
- Enforce Arts UNF and MOCA Jacksonville branding across graphic design content and refine elements to meet quality standards.
- Adhere to file management workflows for efficient archiving, retrieval of projects, and asset management.
- Collaborate with the Director of Communications, Arts UNF, and the Marketing Coordinator to meet with other departments, ensuring project needs, requirements, and timelines are met.
- Take on other duties as assigned by the Director of Communications.
Requirements
- Flexible schedule, including in-person office hours, nights, and weekends as needed.
- Background check required; credit check may also be required per University policy.
- Designation as a Responsible Employee under Title IX, requiring prompt reporting of allegations of sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and child sexual abuse.
