Graphic Designer – Apparel & Product Design

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional who enjoys seeing their designs come to life on physical products. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in graphic design, an eye for detail, and experience creating product mockups, logo treatments, and production-ready artwork. You’ll collaborate closely with product development, creative, and production teams to bring branded apparel concepts to life.

Responsibilities

• Develop graphic designs, product mockups, and renderings for premium apparel and merchandise.
• Create and adapt logos, graphics, and embellishments for application across a variety of apparel products.
• Prepare accurate artwork specifications, including logo sizing, placement, proportions, and color.
• Collaborate with product development and creative teams to translate design concepts into visual representations.
• Adapt existing artwork and brand assets for different products, decoration methods, and production requirements.
• Ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy across all product graphics and design deliverables.
• Make revisions based on internal feedback, product specifications, and production considerations.
• Organize and maintain creative files and artwork throughout the product development process.
• Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to meet project timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of professional graphic design experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign.
• Strong understanding of graphic design principles, typography, composition, color, and layout.
• Experience creating mockups, renderings, logo treatments, or graphics for physical products.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly regarding artwork sizing, placement, and consistency.
• Ability to manage multiple design projects and shifting priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant graphic design capabilities.
• Ability to work onsite in St. Paul, MN.
• Preferred: Experience in apparel, athletic wear, licensed merchandise, promotional products, or consumer product design.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Preferred: Understanding of screen printing, embroidery, heat transfers, or other apparel decoration techniques.
• Preferred: Experience preparing artwork for product development or production.
• Preferred: Interest in sports, fashion, lifestyle brands, or premium performance apparel.

Pay

$32–$37/hour, depending on experience

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday, onsite; anticipated 6‑month contract with potential for extension and contract‑to‑hire.
