Graphic Design Production Contractor

Job Description

Feeding San Diego is seeking an experienced Graphic Design Production Contractor to support our mission of connecting every person facing hunger with nutritious meals. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of professional graphic design experience, demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, and strong organizational and project management skills.

Scope of Services

• Graphic Design
• Create print and digital marketing materials
• Develop templates and creative assets using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
• Prepare files for digital distribution and print production
• Brand Development and Support
• Maintain consistency with Feeding San Diego's established brand guidelines
• Develop visual concepts and branding elements for programs, campaigns, and events
• Provide recommendations regarding design, layout, and visual communication strategies
• Production Coordination
• Prepare production-ready files for vendors
• Creative Consultation
• Participate in project planning discussions
• Provide creative solutions that support organizational goals and audience engagement

Qualifications

• Two or more years of professional graphic design experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout design, and print production
• Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
• Experience developing creative solutions for nonprofit, mission-driven, or community-focused organizations is preferred

PAY & HOURS

Feeding San Diego will pay $30-$40 per hour for contracted services, up to 80 hours per month
