About the role
The Graphic Design Output Intern assists with operating and managing graphic printing software and hardware at Sandhills Global. Working alongside the Graphic Design Output Technician, the intern produces cards, brochures, mailers, and other printed materials, including:
- Processing production-printed media
- Printing offline manuals
- Hand-trimming, gluing, and edge-banding banners
- Installing grommets with hand tools
- Assembling pop-up displays and trade-show booth displays
The role involves printing materials, troubleshooting issues, delivering finished products on deadline, and correcting any printing mistakes. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds are required. Confidentiality and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain graphic-printing software and hardware
- Produce printed collateral (cards, brochures, mailers, etc.)
- Perform offline printing, hand-trimming, gluing, and edge-banding
- Install grommets and assemble trade-show displays
- Troubleshoot printing issues and correct errors
- Meet tight deadlines and deliver materials on time
- Handle confidential projects with discretion
- Assume other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Prior graphic-printing experience preferred but not required
- Coursework in graphic design or production preferred but not required

$18/hour
