Graphic Design Intern

Key Responsibilities

  • Take on high-volume design tasks including resizing assets, building templates, preparing files for print and digital distribution with minimal direction and oversight.
  • Explore and apply AI-powered design tools to speed up production tasks.
  • Aid in creating marketing collateral such as flyers, brochures, presentation materials, and social media graphics based on established brand direction and templates.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all visual assets.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment and embrace change.
  • Collaborate closely with the Graphic Designer to understand project goals, absorb overflow production work, and support the creation of marketing deliverables.
  • Bring fresh perspectives on design trends and emerging tools, including new applications of AI design in workflows.

Requirements

  • Prior coursework or personal design projects are required.
  • A high school diploma is sufficient.
  • The schedule is part-time, offering flexibility within standard business hours. Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week in person, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) are essential.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered design tools like Adobe Firefly and Canva AI is preferred.
  • Experience using Squarespace is a plus.
  • A strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and adapt are key.
  • An interest in photography and/or videography is a bonus.

Skills

Training and Growth

You will receive hands-on mentorship and guidance from our Graphic Designer, exposure to a wide range of marketing projects, and the opportunity to help shape how the Marketing team incorporates AI tools on a day-to-day basis. We provide ongoing professional development opportunities to ensure you have the tools to excel in your career.
