Graphic Design Intern (Summer 2027)

BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of tasks/projects that address the needs of the Marketing department with a special focus on digital and motion graphics design and to facilitate a learning opportunity for the Intern. Over the course of the summer, Love’s interns also participate in the following activities: Tour of multiple business operationsQ&A Sessions with executivesParticipation in Greater Grads; InternOKCCommunity volunteering activitiesSocial/Networking eventsClassroom skills-based trainingMentor ProgramStructured performance feedbackFormal presentation to Love’s Leadership Major Responsibilities Design projects via Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and/or Illustrator. Work with Creative Services team to develop/create both internal and external marketing materials/projects.Other duties assigned as needed. Education And Experience Education:HS Diploma or equivalent requiredCurrently enrolled in four-year university program, a sophomore level or above (pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing or related degree).Experience:Past internship experience a plus but not necessaryPast photography/videography classes or experience a plus but not necessary Skills And Physical Demands Skills:Hard Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft office, experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.Soft Skills: Keen attention to detail, strong oral and verbal communication skills, organization skills and a team playerTypical Physical Demands:Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
