Grants Project Specialist

About the role

We are looking for someone with previous clinical experience in behavioral health (treatment planning, documentation, evidence-based practices, etc.) to conduct clinical reviews and audits of community behavioral health providers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and standards associated with CCBHC (Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic).
• Coordinate processes and internal resources across multiple departments to ensure CCBHC requirements are implemented and outcomes met.
• Participate in collaboration and attend meetings with stakeholders involved in the implementation and ongoing monitoring of CCBHC.
• Ensure BHDDH leadership obtains the information necessary to support the organization’s goals throughout implementation and monitoring of CCBHCs.
• Prepare status reports for the BH Associate Director of special projects and the Director of BHDDH for review.
• Ensure all CCBHC program development plans and activities are executed in keeping with funding requirements and aligned with BHDDH’s values, mission, vision, and strategy for CCBHC implementation.
• Evaluate CCBHC effectiveness; identify successful and unsuccessful CCBHC relationships and engage in proactive problem-solving to reduce barriers impacting outcomes in coordination with organizational leaders.

Requirements

• Master’s degree related to behavioral or public health with 5 years of experience.
• Experience working with state agencies and behavioral health agencies.
• Knowledge of behavioral health services and resources on a local, state, and national level.
• Ability to guide the organization in meeting and exceeding standards.

Pay

$30-32 per hour
