About the role
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking a Grant Manager to join the Research Business Office in support of the research activities of PLM’s Principal Investigators.
Responsibilities
- Manage the sponsored program funds from pre-award through post-award while working with Principal Investigators on proposal development, budget development, and related pre-award requirements and submission for a diverse sponsor portfolio.
- Manage the post-award processes including monitoring and review of all charges, reconciliation of accounts, and preparation of monthly financial reports for Principal Investigators.
- Consult with research faculty in the preparation of sponsored project budget and proposals; review proposals for compliance with sponsor and University policies and ensure Regulatory Affairs requirements are satisfied and that Conflict-of-Interest statements are submitted when required.
- Provide full accounting services, reconciling budgets, processing payroll, and financial reporting, monitors grant expenditures for compliance with sponsor regulations and guidelines.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the post award process for all sponsored program activities for a $10-15 million dollar portfolio.
- Create salary grids and assist with Effort Reporting.
Qualifications
- Grants Manager A: Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Grants Manager B: Bachelor's Degree with 5-7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
