About the role

Guidehouse supports public funding programs across federal and state governments, working closely with clients to design, launch, and sustain initiatives that drive real outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to establish or enhance grants management processes and procedures throughout the grants lifecycle.
  • Identify and proactively address client needs by presenting potential solutions to challenges or issues.
  • Facilitate client discussions and meetings.
  • Educate clients on grant management topics through high-quality presentations and materials.
  • Support clients with technical assistance and training on grant management.
  • Manage project teams and provide feedback to consultants.
  • Engage in business development activities such as responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and proposal development.
  • Contribute to internal and external grants management-related training, knowledge management, and thought leadership activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 5 (FIVE) years of experience in grants management roles.
  • Thorough understanding of Uniform Guidance – 2 CFR 200, including Single Audit requirements, and its application to different types of financial assistance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in the full Microsoft Suite, including MS Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Prior experience in areas such as risk management, internal controls, financial management, program management in federal, state, or local government.
  • Experience applying AI-enabled tools and analytics to grants management functions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in grants management roles at a federal agency, state, city or county government, university, or consulting firm.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in the full Microsoft Suite, including MS Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

  • Experience applying AI-enabled tools and analytics to grants management functions.
  • Grants Management certification from the National Grants Management Association or Management Concepts or other equivalent organizations.

Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $122,000.00-$204,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
