Grants Development Coordinator
The Grants Development Coordinator will research funding opportunities and coordinate the preparation of new and continuing funding applications. Applications may be federal, state and private and corporate foundations. This position will provide leadership and oversight to ensure the seamless, integrated coordination among departments at Children’s Trust for the life cycle of assigned grants through project completion and will work in tandem with key program, operations, finance and development staff. While several individuals and departments within Children’s Trust are involved in a variety of activities associated with each grant, the Grants Development Coordinator provides coordination and planning for the submission and reporting on assigned grants. The grants development coordinator will also write portions of and/or full grants as assigned. This position will also secure corporate sponsorships for key agency initiatives.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, policy, social work, public health, or other related fields with three (3) years of experience in grants development and coordination.
Evaluation Coordinator
The evaluation coordinator is a full-time position of Children’s Trust of South Carolina responsible for overseeing all evaluation activities across the organization. The position involves leading instrument development, data collection, analysis and the creation of evaluation plans and training manuals. The evaluation coordinator will facilitate evaluation training sessions, provide technical assistance, prepare comprehensive reports and communicate evaluation findings to diverse audiences.
- A key focus of this role is to build data and evaluation capacity both internally and externally by promoting interdepartmental collaboration, strengthening relationships and applying evaluation concepts with staff and partners. Initially, the evaluation coordinator will support the evaluation of Strengthening Families Program (SFP), Triple P South Carolina (TPSC) programming, with responsibilities expanding to include additional programs and initiatives. Additionally, this position will contribute to the development and administration of a web-based evaluation system.
Chief Financial Officer
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides both operational and programmatic support to the organization. The CFO will work with the chief executive officer (CEO) on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and new funding acquisition. The CFO will be responsible for all financial aspects of the organization.
- Be a certified public accountant (CPA). Preference will be given to those with a master’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or relevant field.
- Have five to seven years of financial experience and management experience with the day-to-day financial operations of an organization with greater than ten people. Advanced knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources.
- Embody knowledge of federal and state regulations and policies to include an understanding and ability to interpret and implement the Uniform Guidance 2 C.F.R. Part 200.
- Embody knowledge of annual financial statement preparation in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB).
