ICMPD is strongly committed to observing the highest standards in its grant management. The following principles guide the implementation of grant schemes at ICMPD:

• Transparency
• Equal treatment and fairness
• Non-retroactivity
• Co-financing
• No double-financing
• No-profit
• Proportionality

An applicant will be excluded from participation in grant procedures if it is included in the list of EU restrictive measures or finds itself in one of the following situations:

• Bankruptcy, insolvency or winding-up procedures
• Breach of obligations relating to the payment of taxes or social security contributions
• Grave professional misconduct, including misrepresentation
• Fraud
• Corruption
• Conduct related to a criminal organisation
• Money laundering or terrorist financing
• Terrorist offences or offences linked to terrorist activities
• Child labour and other forms of trafficking in human beings
