Grant Writing for a local Arts Council
The Hillsborough Arts Council (HBAC) is dedicated to enriching our community through creativity, culture, and the arts. We support local artists, promote artistic opportunities, and create experiences that bring people together through creative expression. HBAC operating plan includes a diverse range of arts programs and activities throughout the year, including exhibitions and showcases featuring local artists, workshops, classes, artist demonstrations, community arts activities, and opportunities for artists to connect with and support one another. Through these programs, HBAC will encourage both emerging and established artists while providing residents with meaningful opportunities to experience, learn about, and participate in the arts. A unique characteristic of the Hillsborough Arts Council is its strong emphasis on community participation with local artists. HBAC serves as a bridge between artists and the community, creating venues and opportunities for creative expression that might otherwise be unavailable. Our programs bring together artists, residents, families, and community organizations, helping to make the arts an integral part of everyday community life.
