About the role
We're seeking an experienced Grant Writer & Grants Administrator to help secure and manage funding that directly supports life-changing programs for youth.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify foundation, corporate, government, and other funding opportunities.
- Write and submit grant proposals, LOIs, sponsorship requests, and renewal applications.
- Manage the grant process from application through reporting and compliance.
- Develop grant budgets and budget narratives in partnership with leadership.
- Track deadlines, reporting requirements, and grant activity in Monday.com.
- Prepare interim and final grant reports.
- Collaborate with program, finance, and executive teams to develop compelling proposals and measurable outcomes.
- Support donor stewardship, funder communications, and funding strategy initiatives.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of nonprofit grant writing and grant administration experience.
- Strong writing, editing, research, and communication skills.
- Experience developing grant budgets, reports, and performance metrics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Nonprofit experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven success securing and managing six- or seven-figure grants.
- Experience with California state, county, or federal funding opportunities.
- Experience with Monday.com and/or donor CRM systems such as Salsa Labs.
- Experience in foster care, youth development, workforce development, mental health, arts education, entertainment, or related fields.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
