Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain grant records within the financial system and monitor budget-to-actual expenditures.
• Review grant expenditures to ensure accuracy, allowability, and compliance with funding requirements.
• Prepare grant invoices, reimbursement requests, and interim and final financial reports.
• Process journal entries, indirect cost allocations, and matching fund entries.
• Monitor staff time and effort reporting in partnership with program leadership.
• Assist with reconciliations, financial analysis, revenue tracking, and annual audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two (2+) years of accounting experience, preferably in grant, nonprofit, or governmental accounting.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
