Key Responsibilities
- Manage the financial administration of federal, state, local, and private grants.
- Monitor grant budgets and expenditures to ensure compliance with grant agreements and funding requirements.
- Review expenses for allowability, allocability, and proper documentation.
- Track grant spending and identify budget variances, providing recommendations as needed.
- Assist with grant setup, modifications, renewals, and closeout processes.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports to funding agencies.
- Reconcile grant-related accounts and maintain supporting documentation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual grant financial statements and reports.
- Afford assistance with organizational budgeting and forecasting related to grant-funded programs.
- Record journal entries and maintain grant-related general ledger activity.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for audits.
