Key Responsibilities
- Manage federal and grant-funded accounting activities, including reconciliations, budget monitoring, journal entries, and compliance reporting
- Monitor grant expenditures and funding activity to ensure alignment with federal, state, and organizational requirements
- Partner with program leaders, finance teams, and stakeholders to support grant administration and financial accountability
- Auxiliary support for internal and external audits by maintaining documentation, preparing reports, and ensuring grant compliance
- Aid in capital asset tracking, financial analysis, and reporting related to grant-funded projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 3+ years of grant, government, nonprofit, fund, or project accounting experience
- Experience with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft and a strong understanding of compliance-focused financial reporting
