About the Facility
A former vocational education building, originally part of the campus when it served as the old high school, had sat vacant for many years during its time as a middle school. The 20,720 sq. ft. modernization of the existing Granite Falls Middle School vocational education building was designed to create a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) program on the campus.
This modernization includes a multitude of specialized classrooms for both existing and future programs, such as:
- New Culinary Lab
- Manufacturing Lab
- Robotics classroom
- Technology classroom
- Art classroom
- Digital Media classroom
- Maker Lab
The spaces are designed to encourage and promote collaboration between the various programs.
