Granite Countertop Installer/Installation Team

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Countertop installation/repair process knowledge.
• Can read a tape measure to the 16th inch.
• Able to lift heavy objects.
• Able to carefully load/transport countertops in a truck to ensure they remain free of any damage.
• Can ensure that the use of all time, materials, and supplies are reported accurately.
• Able to understand the needs/direction of the client, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Understand the importance of time management to ensure that all clients' needs are met within the given project timeframe.
• Other duties as assigned by your manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to recognize flaws within a workflow and problem-solve to find a creative solution.
• Can read a detailed shop sheet/ticket with measurement specifications to check dimensions, drawings, form, fit and function of countertops.
• Able to remain focused on the task at hand and meet deadlines to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled to exact specifications.
• Must be able to exhibit great attention to detail, and communicate with fellow employees and customers in a professional manner.
• Having a thorough understanding of safe in-field operations.
• Able to learn how to operate the necessary machinery and hand tools needed to complete customer installations.
• Capacity to work in a team environment in order to creatively/safely solve problems as they arise.

Minimum Qualifications

• Have a valid driver's license to ensure safe transportation of materials.
• 1 year of countertop installation or production experience.
