About the Role
Assisting in the supervision and instruction of students under the guidance of a certified teacher. Responsibilities include working with individual or small groups of students, monitoring students in various settings such as classrooms, playgrounds, cafeterias, and libraries, and providing clerical support to teachers.

- Work with individual and/or small groups of students in a classroom setting.
- Monitor students in various environments (classroom, playground, cafeteria, library, etc.).
- Provide clerical support to teachers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Meet paraprofessional requirements: hold an associate of arts degree, have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at an institution of higher learning, or have passed the state paraeducator assessment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- Job-related experience is desired.
Pay
$19.25 - $25.27 per hour (depending on experience).
Schedule
5 days per week, 6.5 hours per day, 180 days per year.

Work Environment
The role involves occasional physical demands such as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling, as well as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and fine finger dexterity. The job requires approximately 34% sitting, 33% walking, and 33% standing. The work environment is generally hazard-free with minimal temperature variations.
